A few years too early for this but it is still nice to get some rep.

#4: If Marcus Lattimore continues to develop physically and Steve Spurrier makes him the focus of the offense, this kid should become one of the most, if not the most, productive back in this class.
Lattimore will gash defenses for chunk after chunk of yardage with his ability to pick a hole, cut back, and burst through the line—particularly with good zone blocking in front of him.
He may never turn into an absolute home-run threat, but Lattimore is the type of guy who can stay on the field all day and stay strong as games wear on.
The opposition must account for him in the pass game, too, as his soft hands are one of his best traits.

Classic case of Counting your "Gamecocks" before they hatch???

“You are in the center of the line, you make all the calls and you handle the ball each and every play." “There is a lot of responsibility that goes into that center position, so you have to have a guy up there that is accountable and has a lot of smarts that can get things done.”

I think you've got to be in position to win championships to get any real consideration in today's college football world. Just my opinion...
So that explains why Clausen didn't win any at notre dame.
